Blair Anderson serves as a Senior Software Architect for the Rochester Data Science Consortium. In this role Blair leverages his expertise in application software development, video and still imaging systems, machine learning and cloud-based technologies to aid our clients in the creation, development, and launch of new software applications.
Blair comes to the Consortium over 35 years of experience in software and hardware design and development. Since 2007 Blair has worked as Consultant/Owner of Blairware, Inc, providing software and hardware development services for tech companies in the greater Rochester area. Specialties include embedded software development for Microprocessors and DSP’s, FPGA development, Digital hardware design, and proficiency in a variety of platforms including Windows and Linux Workstations, Android and iOS Mobile Devices, Azure and AWS Cloud. Previously, Blair served as Director of Software Engineering at CurAegis Technologies, Inc. and Director of Engineering at Geospatial Systems, Inc.
Blair holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.
